The Eastwood Troopers football squad scored 55 points and restricted the host Franklin Cougars to 36 in the Troopers league victory on Friday.

The Troopers now possess a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eastlake for a 6A Region I District 1 battle on Friday, November 4. Eastwood will face a Falcons squad coming off a 38-14 league loss to Pebble Hills (El Paso, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 6-3.

Coming up next, the Cougars face the El Dorado Aztecs (El Paso, TX) in a 6A Region I District 1 battle, on Thursday, November 3. Franklin will attempt to advance on its 5-4 season record. The Aztecs enter the battle with a 5-4 record after their 62-34 league win over Montwood (El Paso, TX).
