Game Story

Arizona High School Football - Queen Creek held off by Red Mountain

October 29, 2021: Mesa, AZ 85207

In Friday's league game, the Red Mountain Mountain Lions (Mesa, AZ) football team got by the visiting Queen Creek Bulldogs (Queen Creek, AZ), by a score of 23-21.

The Mountain Lions (8-1) will now prepare for their game against Williams Field (Gilbert, AZ). The Black Hawks come into the 6A Fiesta game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Williams Field nipped Desert Ridge (Mesa, AZ), 37-35, in a league game.

The Bulldogs now sport a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mountain Pointe for a non-league game on Friday, November 5. Queen Creek will battle a Pride team coming off a 51-14 league loss to Mountain View (Mesa, AZ). The Pride record now stands at 4-4.
