October 3, 2024: San Clemente, CA 92673 The San Clemente Tritons football squad scored 48 points and limited the visiting Bishop Amat Lancers to 12 in the Tritons non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Tritons now hold a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Mission Viejo for a non-league test on Thursday, October 17. San Clemente will meet a Diablos squad coming off a 65-0 league win over Long Beach Poly (Long Beach, CA). The Diablos record now stands at 7-0.
With the defeat, Bishop Amat drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Lancers host Loyola (Los Angeles, CA) to meet the Cubs in a test on Thursday, October 10. The Cubs come into the test with a record of 5-1. Loyola won 14-0 in their recent non-league test against Mount Miguel (Spring Valley, CA)
