The Alma Panthers got by the visiting Powers Catholic Chargers football team by a score of 33-27 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers play the Garber Dukes (Essexville, MI) in a Tri-Valley - Red challenge, on Friday, October 10. Alma will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Dukes go into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 49-8 league loss to Freeland (Freeland, MI).
