Camelback Spartans (Phoenix, AZ) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting South Mountain Jaguars (Phoenix, AZ), 59-6 in a league battle.

With the win, Camelback improves its record to 1-5 on the season. The Spartans host Browne (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Bruins in a 5A Metro battle on Friday, October 10. The Bruins go into the battle with a record of 0-6. Browne lost 24-13 in their recent league battle against Fairfax (Laveen, AZ)

The Jaguars now have a 0-6 record. They play next when they host Central for a 5A Metro match on Thursday, October 9. South Mountain will meet a Bobcats squad coming off a 21-0 league loss to North (Phoenix, AZ). The Bobcats record now stands at 0-6.
