North Carolina High School Football - Carson overwhelmed by Northwest Cabarrus

In Friday's league game, the Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC) football team triumphed over the visiting Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC), by a tally of 49-14.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC) in a South Piedmont 4A/5A game, on Friday, October 10. Northwest Cabarrus will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record. The Hornets enter the game with a 1-5 record after their 27-24 league loss to East Rowan (Salisbury, NC).

With the defeat, Carson drops to 3-3 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Concord (Concord, NC) to clash with the Spiders in a South Piedmont 4A/5A outing on Friday, October 10. The Spiders come into the outing with a record of 3-3. Concord lost 31-14 in their recent league outing against Jay M. Robinson (Concord, NC)
