The John Paul II Catholic Saints football squad scored 47 points and limited the visiting Faith Christian Patriots to 34 in the Saints league triumph on Friday.

The Saints now hold a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host South Wake for a non-league test on Friday, October 10. John Paul II Catholic will meet a Lions squad coming off a 43-14 non-league loss to Ravenscroft (Raleigh, NC). The Lions record now stands at 0-5.

With the defeat, Faith Christian drops to 5-2 on the campaign. The Patriots host Cary Christian (Cary, NC) to meet the Knights in a NCISAA 8-Man Freelance (8 Man) test on Friday, October 17. The Knights come into the test with a record of 6-0. Cary Christian won 20-14 in their recent league test against John Paul II Catholic (Greenville, NC)
