North Carolina High School Football - Hickory defeats Maiden

October 3, 2025: Hickory, NC 28601

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC) and the visiting Maiden Blue Devils (Maiden, NC), saw Hickory's football team gain a win over Maiden by a final score of 38-21.

With the win, Hickory advances its record to 6-1 on the season. The Red Tornadoes travel to West Iredell (Statesville, NC) to encounter the Warriors in a Western Foothills 4A/5A battle on Friday, October 10. The Warriors go into the battle with a record of 4-2. West Iredell lost 41-14 in their recent league battle against East Lincoln (Denver, NC)

The Blue Devils now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Bandys for a Western Foothills 4A/5A match on Friday, October 17.
