In Friday's league match, the visiting Wisner-Pilger Gators football squad scored a decisive 56-12 victory over the Homer Knights.

The Gators (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Guardian Angels Central Catholic (West Point, NE). The Bluejays go into the D1 District 2 (8 Man) battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Guardian Angels Central Catholic was crushed by Pender (Pender, NE), 52-28, in a league battle.
