The Lacey Township Lions football team (Lanoka Harbor, NJ), was routed 35-0 in Friday's non-league contest with the visiting Southern Regional Rams (Manahawkin, NJ)

The Rams (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against Manchester Township (Lakehurst, NJ). The Hawks enter the Shore - B South contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Manchester Township was routed by Monmouth Regional (Tinton Falls, NJ), 21-6, in a non-league battle.

The Lions now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Toms River East for a Shore - C South battle on Friday, October 10. Lacey Township will encounter a Raiders team coming off a 35-0 non-league loss to Donovan Catholic (Toms River, NJ). The Raiders record now stands at 3-3.
