October 3, 2025: Portland, OR 97205 In Friday's league match, the visiting Roosevelt Roughriders football squad scored a close 18-14 triumph over the Lincoln Cardinals.
In their next game, the Roughriders play the Jefferson Democrats (Portland, OR) in a 6A Portland challenge, on Thursday, October 9. Roosevelt will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Democrats go into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 34-0 league loss to Grant (Portland, OR).
The Cardinals (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against McDaniel (Portland, OR). The Mountain Lions go into the 6A Portland challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, McDaniel nipped Cleveland (Portland, OR), 41-19, in a league challenge.
