In Friday's league game, the Meyersdale Red Raiders (Meyersdale, PA) football team edged the visiting Northern Bedford County Panthers (Loysburg, PA), by a tally of 19-18.

In their next game, the Red Raiders face the Brownsville Falcons (Brownsville, PA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, October 9. Meyersdale will attempt to better on its 6-1 season record. The Falcons enter the outing with a 0-5 record after their 46-12 league loss to Carrick (Pittsburgh, PA).
