In Friday's league game, the South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC) football team triumphed over the host Southern Lee Cavaliers (Sanford, NC), by a score of 45-7.

In their next game, the Trojans face the Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC) in a Carolina Pines 6A game, on Friday, October 10. South Johnston will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Yellow Jackets enter the game with a 4-2 record after their 34-6 league win over Western Harnett (Lillington, NC).
