Burbank Bulldogs (San Antonio, TX) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Edison Golden Bears (San Antonio, TX), 47-13 in a league battle.

With the win, Burbank improves its record to 3-5 on the season. The Bulldogs host Lanier (San Antonio, TX) to meet the Voks in a 5A-2 Region III District 12 match on Friday, November 7. The Voks come into the match with a record of 6-3. Lanier won 41-13 in their recent league match against Edison (San Antonio, TX)

Coming up next, the Golden Bears meet the Jefferson Mustangs (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A-2 Region III District 12 match, on Saturday, November 8. Edison will attempt to improve on its 0-9 season record. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 32-29 league win over Brackenridge (San Antonio, TX).
