In Thursday's league game, the DeSoto Central Jaguars (Southaven, MS) football team overcame the host Hernando Tigers (Hernando, MS), by a tally of 42-21.

Next, the Jaguars clash with the Tupelo Golden Wave (Tupelo, MS) in a 7A Region 1 outing, on Thursday, November 6. DeSoto Central will attempt to move on its 7-3 season record. The Golden Wave enter the game with a 9-1 record after their 49-0 league win over Lewisburg (Olive Branch, MS).
