The Eastwood Troopers were winner over the visiting Montwood Rams football squad by a margin of 54-27 in Thursday's league test.

The Troopers now sport a 9-1 record.

With the defeat, Montwood drops to 0-9 on the campaign. The Rams host Socorro (El Paso, TX) to meet the Bulldogs in a 6A Region I District 1 test on Thursday, November 6. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 3-6. Socorro lost 42-29 in their recent league challenge against Coronado (El Paso, TX)
