Texas High School Football - Hutto nudges Vista Ridge

The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the Hutto Hippos (Hutto, TX) and the host Vista Ridge Rangers (Cedar Park, TX), witnessed Hutto's football squad edge Vista Ridge by a count of 35-34.

With the win, Hutto advances its record to 7-2 on the season. The Hippos host McNeil (Austin, TX) to encounter the Mavericks in a 6A Region IV District 25 battle on Friday, November 7. The Mavericks go into the battle with a record of 6-3. McNeil won 42-21 in their recent league battle against Manor (Manor, TX)

The Rangers now hold a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Round Rock Westwood for a 6A Region IV District 25 match on Friday, November 7. Vista Ridge will confront a Warriors squad coming off a 43-0 league loss to Vandegrift (Austin, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 3-6.
