The Columbus Cardinals were victorious over the host Hallettsville Brahmas football team by a score of 35-21 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Cardinals clash with the Hempstead Bobcats (Hempstead, TX) in a 3A-1 Region III District 12 test, on Friday, November 7. Columbus will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record. The Bobcats come into the test with a 1-8 record after their 49-21 league loss to Hallettsville (Hallettsville, TX).
