October 31, 2025: Lewisburg, WV 24901 In Friday's league match, the host Greenbrier East Spartans football squad scored a good 29-14 triumph over the James Monroe Mavericks.
The Spartans (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Nitro (Nitro, WV). The Wildcats go into the non-league challenge with a 8-1 record. In their last challenge, Nitro toppled Capital (Charleston, WV), 22-20, in a non-league challenge.
The Mavericks (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Tug Valley (Williamson, WV). The Panthers go into the non-league challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, Tug Valley went down by Man (Man, WV), 28-6, in a league test.
