The Salem Greyhounds football squad scored 12 points and limited the visiting Mayflower Eagles to 7 in the Greyhounds league triumph on Friday.

The Greyhounds now sport a 9-0 record. They take the field next when they host Quitman for a 3A Region 2 test on Thursday, November 6. Salem will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 35-13 league loss to Atkins (Atkins, AR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-2.

With the defeat, Mayflower drops to 8-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host Atkins (Atkins, AR) to clash with the Red Devils in a 3A Region 2 outing on Thursday, November 6. The Red Devils come into the outing with a record of 8-1. Atkins won 42-7 in their recent league outing against Yellville-Summit (Yellville, AR)
