Texas High School Football - Three Rivers defeated by Santa Maria

October 31, 2025: Santa Maria, TX 78592

The Santa Maria Cougars were victorious over the visiting Three Rivers Bulldogs football team by a tally of 56-29 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Premont Cowboys (Premont, TX) in a 2A-1 Region IV District 16 outing, on Friday, November 7. Santa Maria will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Cowboys come into the outing with a 4-4 record after their 50-20 league win over Kaufer (Riviera, TX).

With the defeat, Three Rivers drops to 4-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Refugio (Refugio, TX) to clash with the Bobcats in a 2A-1 Region IV District 16 outing on Friday, November 7. The Bobcats come into the outing with a record of 5-3. Refugio won 61-0 in their recent league outing against Skidmore-Tynan (Skidmore, TX)
