Arizona High School Football - Mingus can't hold off Flagstaff
October 4, 2024: Cottonwood, AZ 86326 Flagstaff Eagles (Flagstaff, AZ) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the host Mingus Marauders (Cottonwood, AZ), 14-13 in a league battle.
With the win, Flagstaff advances its record to 5-1 on the season. The Eagles host Prescott (Prescott, AZ) to play the Badgers in a 4A Grand Canyon battle on Thursday, October 17. The Badgers go into the battle with a record of 5-1. Prescott won 28-7 in their recent league battle against Lee Williams (Kingman, AZ)
The Marauders now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Bradshaw Mountain for a 4A Grand Canyon battle on Friday, October 18. Mingus will play a Bears team coming off a 27-20 league win over Coconino (Flagstaff, AZ). The Bears record now stands at 4-2.
