In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Woodrow Wilson Bruins volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Santa Monica Vikings.

The Bruins (21-8) will now prepare for their battle against Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, NV). The Gaels come into the non-league battle with a 19-4 record. In their last battle, Bishop Gorman achieved victory over Foothill (Henderson, NV), 3-0, in a league battle.
