October 7, 2021: Lawrenceville, GA 30045

The Lanier Longhorns walloped the host Central Gwinnett Black Knights football team by a final score of 48-14 in Thursday's league outing.

With the win, Lanier improves its record to 2-3 on the season. The Longhorns host Habersham Central (Mt. Airy, GA) to confront the Raiders in a AAAAAA Region 8 outing on Friday, October 15. The Raiders go into the outing with a record of 2-5. Habersham Central lost 35-17 in their recent league outing against Dacula (Dacula, GA)

With the loss, Central Gwinnett moves to 1-6 on the season. The Black knights travel to Winder-Barrow (Winder, GA) to confront the Bulldogs in a AAAAAA Region 8 outing on Friday, October 15. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a record of 3-4. Winder-Barrow lost 9-0 in their recent league outing against Shiloh (Snellville, GA)
