October 7, 2021: Monroe, NC 28112 The Central Academy Cougars football team (Monroe, NC), was beaten 14-6 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Charlotte Country Day School Buccaneers (Charlotte, NC)
The Buccaneers (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Christ School (Arden, NC). The Greenies come into the challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Christ School was beaten by Tuscola (Waynesville, NC), 13-0, in a non-league challenge.
The Cougars now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Anson for a challenge on Thursday, October 14. Central Academy will meet a Bearcats team coming off a 28-7 league loss to Monroe (Monroe, NC). The Bearcats record now stands at 1-1.
