The Saluda Tigers football team (Saluda, SC), was tipped 6-3 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Strom Thurmond Rebels (Johnston, SC)

The Rebels (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Pelion (Pelion, SC). The Panthers come into the AA Region 3 challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Pelion was tipped by Fox Creek (North Augusta, SC), 28-21, in a league challenge.

The Tigers now sport a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Silver Bluff for a AA Region 3 challenge on Friday, October 14. Saluda will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 29-14 league win over Batesburg-Leesville (Batesburg, SC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-4.
