The Arcola Purple Riders volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Blue Ridge Knights to 0 in the Purple Riders non-league triumph on Monday.

The Purple Riders now possess a 11-7 record. They play next when they travel to Argenta-Oreana for a non-league outing on Monday, October 7. Arcola will clash with a Bombers team coming off a 2-0 league win over Cumberland (Toledo, IL). The Bombers record now stands at 10-13.
