The Portage Central Mustangs football squad scored 33 points and restricted the visiting Portage Northern Huskies to 17 in the Mustangs league victory on Friday.

The Mustangs now possess a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central for a Southwestern Michigan battle on Friday, October 15. Portage Central will face a Bearcats squad coming off a 33-31 league loss to Kalamazoo Central (Kalamazoo, MI). The Bearcats record now stands at 3-4.
