The Chieftains (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln Christian (Tulsa, OK). The Bulldogs come into the 3A District 3 challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Lincoln Christian nipped Westville (Westville, OK), 61-0, in a league challenge.
The Wildcats now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westville for a 3A District 3 challenge on Thursday, October 15. Checotah will meet a Yellowjackets team coming off a 61-0 league loss to Lincoln Christian (Tulsa, OK). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 2-4.
