Connecticut High School Football - Choate Rosemary Hall School drops to Avon Old Farms
October 9, 2021: Avon, CT 06001 In Saturday's league game, the Avon Old Farms Beavers (Avon, CT) football team knocked off the visiting Choate Rosemary Hall School Wild Boars (Wallingford, CT), by a score of 50-19.
The Beavers (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Hotchkiss School (Lakeville, CT). The Bearcats come into the Founders game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Hotchkiss School was knocked off by Loomis Chaffee School (Windsor, CT), 49-14, in a league game.
The Wild Boars now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Taft School for a Founders game on Saturday, October 16. Choate Rosemary Hall School will battle a Big Red team coming off a 30-23 non-league win over Phillips Academy (Andover, MA). The Big Red record now stands at 3-0.
