The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the Bennington Badgers (Bennington, NE) and the host Elkhorn Antlers (Elkhorn, NE), witnessed Bennington's football squad wallop Elkhorn by a tally of 49-7.

The Badgers (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Skutt Catholic (Omaha, NE). The SkyHawks enter the B District 1 contest with a 6-1 record. In their last bout, Skutt Catholic smashed Elkhorn North (Elkhorn, NE), 28-19, in a league bout.

The Antlers now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they travel to Blair for a B District 1 bout on Friday, October 17. Elkhorn will encounter a Bears team coming off a 42-7 non-league loss to Seward (Seward, NE). The Bears record now stands at 0-7.
