In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host North Valley Christian Academy Lions volleyball team scored a 3-0 win over the Fountain Hills Falcons.

With the win, North Valley Christian Academy advances its record to 23-7 on the season. The Lions host Highland Prep West (Avondale, AZ) to play the HORNETS in a 2A - West game on Monday, October 20. The HORNETS go into the game with a record of 8-8.

The Falcons (13-11) will now prepare for their game against Casa Grande (Casa Grande, AZ). The Cougars go into the non-league game with a 5-14 record. In their last game, Casa Grande went down by Vista Grande (Casa Grande, AZ), 3-1, in a league game.
