The Sussex Central Golden Knights got by the host St. Georges Tech Hawks football team by a score of 22-21 in Saturday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Golden Knights face the Smyrna Eagles (Smyrna, DE) in a 3A District 2 challenge, on Friday, November 7. Sussex Central will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Eagles come into the outing with a 5-4 record after their 46-7 league win over Dover (Dover, DE).

With the defeat, St. Georges Tech drops to 5-4 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Cape Henlopen (Lewes, DE) to face the Vikings in a 3A District 2 game on Friday, November 7.
