Mississippi High School Basketball - Riverside fells Leflore County
November 12, 2019: Itta Bena, MS 38941 Riverside Bulldogs (Avon, MS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Leflore County Tigers (Itta Bena, MS), 77-69 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Riverside upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Simmons (Hollandale, MS) to clash with the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Friday, November 15. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Tigers clash with the Coahoma Agricultural Tigers (Clarksdale, MS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 19. Leflore County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 47-42 non-league win over Clarksdale (Clarksdale, MS).
