The Jonesboro Cardinals football team (Jonesboro, GA), was dropped 35-7 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Southwest DeKalb Panthers (Decatur, GA)

In their next game, the Panthers play the Kell Longhorns (Marietta, GA) in a non-league test, on Friday, November 21. Southwest DeKalb will attempt to upgrade on its 9-2 season record. The Longhorns come into the test with a 9-2 record after their 35-14 non-league win over Hampton (Hampton, GA).

With the defeat, Jonesboro drops to 6-5 on the campaign.
