New Mexico High School Volleyball - Melrose over Quemado

November 14, 2025: Melrose, NM 88124

The Melrose Buffaloes volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Quemado Eagles to 0 in the Buffaloes non-league triumph on Friday.

The Buffaloes now have a 23-2 record. They play next when they travel to Gateway Christian for a non-league outing on Saturday, November 15. Melrose will play a Warriors team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over New Mexico School for the Deaf (Santa Fe, NM). The Warriors record now stands at 19-7.

With the loss, Quemado drops to 22-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Roy/Mosquero (Roy, NM) to face the Blue/Lady Blue in a non-league game on Friday, November 14. The Blue/Lady Blue go into the game with a record of 19-5. Roy/Mosquero lost 3-1 in their recent non-league game against Elida (Elida, NM)
