The Andress Eagles basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Montwood Rams to 38 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cathedral for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 18. Andress will battle a Fighting Irish team coming off a 66-27 non-league win over Bowie (El Paso, TX). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 2-0.

The Rams (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against El Dorado (El Paso, TX). The Aztecs enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, El Dorado triumphed over Eastlake (El Paso, TX), 50-44, in a non-league contest.
