The Edgewood Bulldogs basketball team scored 40 points and held the visiting Quitman Bulldogs to 13 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Non Varsity Tournament Opponent for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 16. Edgewood will meet a team coming off a 51-32 non-league win over Flanagan/Woodland (Flanagan, IL). The record now stands at 1-2.

The Bulldogs (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Palestine (Palestine, TX). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Palestine triumphed over Farmersville (Farmersville, TX), 42-39, in a non-league contest.
