November 17, 2025: Charlotte, NC 28262 Carolina International Comets (Concord, NC) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Bradford Prep Bears (Charlotte, NC), 51-47 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Carolina International advances its record to 2-1 on the year. The Comets travel to Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC) to meet the Cavaliers in a non-league match on Friday, November 21. The Cavaliers enter the match with a record of 0-1. Cuthbertson lost 54-45 in their recent non-league match against Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC)
The Bears now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host North Stanly for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 3. Bradford Prep will battle a Comets team coming off a 58-54 non-league win over East Rowan (Salisbury, NC). The Comets record now stands at 1-0.
