Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Hanover Central Wildcats (Cedar Lake, IN) and the host Hammond Morton Governors (Hammond, IN), saw Hanover Central's basketball team triumph over Hammond Morton by a score of 64-28.

The Wildcats now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Munster for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 5. Hanover Central will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 72-60 non-league win over Knox (Knox, IN). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-0.

The Governors (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Wheeler (Valparaiso, IN). The Bearcats come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Wheeler was routed by Lowell (Lowell, IN), 63-25, in a non-league contest.
