The Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC) basketball were winner over the visiting Berry Cardinals (Charlotte, NC), 83-69 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Greenwave now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host West Mecklenburg for a non-league bout on Friday, November 22. Ashbrook will play a Hawks team coming off a 48-43 non-league loss to Ballantyne Ridge (Charlotte, NC). The Hawks record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Berry falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Garinger (Charlotte, NC) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Monday, November 25. The Wildcats go into the outing with a record of 0-2. Garinger lost 67-23 in their recent non-league outing against Hopewell (Huntersville, NC)
