The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the North Stanly Comets (New London, NC) and the visiting Greater Cabarrus Stallions Stallions (Concord, NC), observed North Stanly's basketball team knock off Greater Cabarrus Stallions by a score of 81-64.

The Comets (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against West Stanly (Oakboro, NC). The Colts come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, West Stanly prevailed over Albemarle (Albemarle, NC), 77-59, in a non-league challenge.
