North Carolina High School Basketball - Greater Cabarrus Stallions held off by North Stanly

November 20, 2024: New London, NC 28127

In Wednesday's non-league test, the North Stanly Comets (New London, NC) basketball squad got by the visiting Greater Cabarrus Stallions Stallions (Concord, NC), by a score of 57-51.

Next, the Comets encounter the West Stanly Colts (Oakboro, NC) in a non-league test, on Friday, November 22. North Stanly will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Colts come into the test with a 1-1 record after their 72-28 non-league loss to Albemarle (Albemarle, NC).

The Stallions (2-4) will now prepare for their test against South Guilford HomeSchool (High Point, NC). The Cougars come into the North Carolina Home Education - West test with a 11-0 record. In their last test, South Guilford HomeSchool held off Chatham HomeSchool (Pittsboro, NC), 40-30, in a non-league test.
