Iowa High School Basketball - Bishop Garrigan crushes St. Edmond
November 21, 2023: Algona, IA 50511 Bishop Garrigan Golden Bears (Algona, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting St. Edmond Gaels (Fort Dodge, IA), 78-17 in a league bout.
With the win, Bishop Garrigan upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Golden Bears host Belmond-Klemme (Belmond, IA) to play the Broncos in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 28. The Broncos go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Gaels play the Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS (Clarion, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. St. Edmond will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 67-38 non-league loss to Southeast Valley (Gowrie, IA).
