Texas High School Basketball - Canyon overwhelms Lone Star
November 21, 2024: Canyon, TX 79015 The Canyon Eagles basketball team scored 51 points and limited the visiting Lone Star Rangers to 30 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Eagles now have a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Prosper for a non-league game on Saturday, November 23. Canyon will confront a Eagles team coming off a 62-58 non-league loss to Glenn (Leander, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 8-5.
With the loss, Lone Star falls to 2-8 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Little Elm (Little Elm, TX) to confront the Lobos in a non-league game on Friday, November 22. The Lobos go into the game with a record of 4-10. Little Elm lost 52-38 in their recent non-league game against Canyon (Canyon, TX)
