The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Farmville Central Jaguars (Farmville, NC) and the visiting Martin County Gators (Williamston, NC), witnessed Farmville Central's football squad topple Martin County by a count of 28-20.

The Jaguars (8-5) will now prepare for their battle against James Kenan (Warsaw, NC). The Tigers go into the non-league battle with a 11-1 record. In their last battle, James Kenan overcame Ayden - Grifton (Ayden, NC), 54-26, in a non-league battle.
