Liberty Lions (Peoria, AZ) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Shadow Ridge Stallions (Surprise, AZ), 61-54 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Liberty upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Lions host Maryvale (Phoenix, AZ) to confront the Panthers in a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 3. The Panthers go into the contest with a record of 0-2. Maryvale lost 49-22 in their recent non-league contest against Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ)

In their next game, the Stallions confront the Browne Bruins (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 9. Shadow Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
