Pleasant Hope Pirates (Pleasant Hope, MO) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Wheaton Bulldogs (Wheaton, MO), 50-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pleasant Hope upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Pirates travel to New Covenant Academy (Springfield, MO) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Monday, November 27. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 0-2.
