The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Marion Swamp Foxes (Marion, SC) and the visiting Sumter Gamecocks (Sumter, SC), observed Marion's basketball team edge Sumter by a score of 50-49.

The Swamp Foxes (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Socastee (Myrtle Beach, SC). The Braves come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.

In their next game, the Gamecocks encounter the Lakewood Gators (Sumter, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 3. Sumter will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
