Johansen Vikings (Modesto, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Bear Creek Bruins (Stockton, CA), 60-57 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Johansen upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Vikings travel to Hilmar (Hilmar, CA) to face the Yellowjackets in a non-league match on Monday, November 24. The Yellowjackets go into the contest with a record of 1-0. Hilmar won 44-25 in their recent non-league contest against Dos Palos (Dos Palos, CA)

In their next game, the Bruins confront the Central Valley Hawks (Ceres, CA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, November 25. Bear Creek will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
